The NME will be the only opponent that will make up the combat encounters in the game. It will be a bipedal mech that fires at you with its single gun on the front. The top half will be based on the front cockpit of the Mil Mi-24D. I saw it at an air museum in Czechia and immediately knew that this would be its "head".

The bottom half should, of course, have two legs. I'm not sure yet exactly how the legs should move around, but I do know that the bottom half should move independantly of the top half. By doing this, we can simply program the legs to face the direction they're moving in, and the head to aim at the player and fire. Therefore, the legs and head must meet together in a "pelvis" instead of being attached directly to each other. The lower half of the ED 209 from Robocop illustrates my idea well.

As decided in #7, the NME will have a base palette of red, coupled with black, shiny and opaque cockpit glass. This should conclude the artistic design of the NME.
